Mountainous stage that crosses the Pyrenees. Roncesvalles is known for its collegiate church. Transfer to Pamplona for the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neither the mileage nor the orography of the stage present any difficulty. The almost 9.5 kilometers that separate Azofra from Cirue\u00f1a only present a positive slope of 190 meters, which gives an idea of the smoothness of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00eda 4.<\/strong> Carri\u00f3n de los Condes – Terradillos de los Templarios<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning transfer Carrion de los Condes. Departure: Carrion de los Condes- Arrival: Terradillos de los Templarios. 26 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stage that combines the rich history of Castilla-Le\u00f3n with natural landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotel: Parador de Le\u00f3n (former monastery also known as Hostal San Marcos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00eda 5.<\/strong> Astorga – Foncebadon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning transfer Astorga. Departure: Astorga – Arrival: Foncebadon. 26 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who want to deviate from the Camino to visit the nearby town of Castrillo de los Polvazares (Historic-Artistic Complex and typical Maragato town with cobbled streets and muleteers\u2019 houses), instead of entering Murias de Rechivaldo, continue along the shoulder of the LE-142 for a couple of kilometers. After visiting the town, you must take a signposted track at the end of the town, which leads to the French Way just before entering Santa Catalina de Somoza. The detour adds an insignificant extra kilometer to the stage, so it is more than recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotel: Parador de Villafranca del Bierzo (this Parador is located about a 30-minute drive from Triacastela, but it is the closest Parador option).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00eda 6.<\/strong> Sarria – Portomar\u00edn<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning transfer Sarria. Departure: Sarria – Arrival: Portomar\u00edn. 22 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
